My job responsibilities are-
-To supervise and manage all activities of quality control department (wire division) & coordinate it with the top management of the company.
-To maintain all records of ISO relating to quality control.
-Also responsibility of managing and handling E.T.P., S.T.P. and R.O. plant and all activities relating to managing effluent treatment.
-Handling all matters related to pollution dept. and maintain and control all records and forms related to it.

My job responsibilities were-
- To manage and motivate a group of competent workforce of quality control dept. which consist two assistant chemists and a number of helpers.
- To check the quality of ingots which is used as the raw materials in rolling mill.
- To assure the proper functioning of rolling by checking out the various problems like misroll, rollout, cracks etc while rolling, in coordination with the Foreman of rolling mill.
- To assure that the thermex system is working properly.
- To assure the quality of the finished products by performing various physical and chemical testings as per IS norms

Was working as a senior chemist in UPPER INDIA STEEL MFG. & ENGG CO. LTD. LUDHIANA (a prominent co. of north zone which has two arc furnace of 15 ton each, a LRF, a VD and 5 rolling mills. And its products are various grades of alloy steel)

- Various physical testing of rolled products like tensile test, checking grain size and structures, inclusions, decarb. And jominy.
- Chemical testing of various raw materials (i.e. sponge iron, pig iron, various ferro- alloys and refractories) used in the manufacturing of steel.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL- B.Sc with (PCM) Physics (Hons.) from Magadh University, Bodhgaya (1994)
PROFESSIONAL- 1. P.G. Diploma in Marketing Management from Nalanda Open University, Patna
2. One and half year certificate course in Steel Making Technology from National Institute of Secondary Steel Technology (NISST), Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. (2007).
3. Four months short term course in Laboratory Practice and Chemical Testing in Steel from NISST, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab (2005)
4. One week vocational training in various aspect of manufacturing process of steel from STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA (SAIL), Durgapur.
5. 2 weeks training of basic metallography from Institute of Auto Parts (organization of Punjab Government), Ludhiana.
COMPUTER LITERACY- Working knowledge of MS Office.
