    Title: DSP Practice using TI's TMS320C54x Processor

    Details of Trainer: Madhusudhana Rao has done M.Tech at IIT New Delhi. He has 8+years of academic experience and 5+ years of industrial experience. He has launched UG Consultants, in April 2008 at Bangalore and is quite actively associated with both industry and academia by conducting corporate training programs, faculty training programs and workshops on DSP Practices.

    Description of the course: This course provides in depth understanding of the DSP architectures, programming and interfacing of the DSP processors. The course contents are designed with an objective of providing the hands on experience on the TI's DSP Processors and to make the trainees to implement a DSP based system using TI's DSP Processors.

    Overview: The topics covered under this workshop includes generic features of DSP processors, architectural and programming details of TI's TMS320C54x processors, fixed-point and floating-point data formats and arithmetic concepts, TI's Software Development Tool - Code Composer Studio (CCS), Fixed point C programming, ASM Programming, mixed C and ASM programming, intefacting, real time experiments.

    Project: Implementation of a Real-Time DSP based system using TMS320C5416 DSK board.

    Duration: 4-5 weeks.
