Concept prospective, double blind, placebo controlled, randomized,
Multi¬centric study to evaluate the safety and activity of PHP-Diabetes
In patients with freshly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus”.(CSIR, India).
In this study, we considered the parameters like HbA1c, OGTT, fasting blood sugar
levels, serum triglyceride levels, LDL levels for the evaluation of anti-diabetic activity
of PHP-diabetes formulation containing hydro alcoholic root extract of withania somnifera.
In PHP-diabetes treated group, the levels of HbA1c, OGTT, fasting blood sugar levels,
serum triglyceride levels were decreased in visit 6 when compared to visit 2.
