Job Description:
Major responsibilities will be :
1. To Identify of new deposits by conducting qualitative & quantitative assessment of deposits for their feasibility and planning & execution of multifaced exploration.
2. Planning & execution of coal exploration & mine support drillings & updation of exploration blocks & mines plans.
3. Surface & underground geological mapping, core logging and sampling.
4. Scrutiny, evaluation & documentation of geological & technical reports.
5. Drawing graphic logs, seam structures, correlation of seams, preparation of floor contour plans, cross sections etc.
6. Solving of geological mine problems & reserve calculations.

Reporting:
To the Vertical Head

Desired Candidate Profile:
The candiddate Should have worked in exploration of coal in green field project; engaged in systematic mine planning, process and quality control, preparing geological reports and mining plan.

Candidates with Masters Degree in Geology/Geomining or M.Tech in Applied Geology/Geotechnology with atleast 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in exploration of coal.

Experience in African countries or Indonesia will be highly preferred.

Must be good in communication in English . Ready for travel extensively.
