Job Profile :
- Processing & Tracking of Export Shipment
- Responsible for overall logistics & transportation operations.
- Ensure smooth operations & management of the logistics and distribution activities.
- Providing B/L Instruction & confirmation and related instructions for various certificates and switch B/L.
- Handling entire documentation involved from finalization of order to completion of order – Vessel Booking for the shipments, Instruction to forklift people to load the containers, Documentation for Export, Inspection (if require) coordination, Insurance (if require).
- Provide full logistics support and advices to the related department such as sales, marketing, accounts and purchasing.
- Ensure the delivery of the product on schedule.
- Handle the queries and issues of the customers and resolve them very effectively.
- Processes request and invoices from the customers.
- Interact with freight forwarder for the timely delivery of products.
- Interact with customers and dealer through fax, verbal or written communication to provide the information about the delivery and product to be delivered.

Description : Objective of this project is to find out the satisfaction level of the employees about recruitment and selection process and evaluate the satisfaction derived from appropriate Induction and proper Placement of the employees working at SVIL. This project will identify the complications in recruitment and selection process for the management as well as for the employees. Two different Questionnaires were designed for the Managers and the Staff, for the purpose of getting the required information. The respondents were selected randomly on the basis of convenience i.e. Convenience Sampling was used.
Results : The study revealed high satisfaction of the employees from their Induction and Placement in the Company. They were happy and satisfied at Sigma Vibracoustic India Ltd and also felt proud to be associated with it but the study also revealed the facts that were used to chalk out the following conclusions:
- Most of the Managers were indifferent to using Job Description before interviewing the candidates.
- Managers agree with the in house promotion not from hiring the candidates from Media, Campus and Walk – ins.
- Managers wants simple selection procedure they are not in favor of any test for the selection of the candidates
- The company faces a great deal to retaining its workforce.
- Employees want to change in the company rules and policies regarding the selection process.
