we have a requirement urgent for a company in bangalore that are into actuators & valve gearboxes manufacturers, largest in the world.

The requirement are for Head - service.

An opportunity has arisen for the post of Head - Service to lead and supervise a team of Service Engineers and Service Representatives throughout India. The successful candidate will report to the managing director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Service Engineers and Representatives
- Develop service business defining service objectives
- Formulate proposals for service activities in projects and after sales service
- Plan, control and direct field activities such as installation, commissioning, repairs. modifications at customer sites
- Manage service costs and warranty claims
- Hands-on breakdown repairs, whenever need arises
- Implement policies and procedures for Service Dept.
- Liaison with Principal in Germany towards supporting their products supplied to India and neighboring countries
- Monitor and support program for customer satisfaction

Key requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- 15-20 years of industry experience, of which 3-5 years in senior management position and 3-5 years in customer support function in an ISO 9001 company.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Commercial negotiation skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to speak Hindi desirable and knowledge of regional languages preferred.
- Capable of working within tight schedules of customers.
- Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
- Should be willing to travel to customer sites, whenever required.
