Job Description:

Sajan is seeking a performance driven, high energy, rising leader to fill the role of a Team Lead who will lead a team of Software Quality Assurance engineers in the testing of next generation of its translation management technology. This position offices out of Sajan, Gurgaon, India. The job requires to:

1. Develop test plans/procedures and subsequent test case/script code for manual/automated functional, stress, acceptance, and regression testing.
2. Develop focused test plans for Sajan applications.
3. Set-up and maintain testing environments.
4. Perform test cases and maintain associated test records.
5. Analyze results, draws conclusions from test results, and make recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Push back on the Software Engineer when necessary.
6. Ensure that no defective products are moved to production.
7. Follow-up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system.
8. Resolve complex issues that may require design trade-offs.
9. Recommend methodologies and software for automated testing and defect tracking beyond what is currently being utilized.
10. Give work direction and focus to the Software Quality Assurance Engineers.
11. Provide leadership and weekly prioritization of testing efforts.
12. Communicate effectively with the director of software development.
13. Meet goals and deadlines.


Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Must have an in depth understanding of .NET or J2EE technologies, application server technologies, and web based standards.
2. Experience with the Microsoft solution framework, RUP, Agile and other industry standard processes.
3. Independent self starter and committed to delivering on aggressive deadlines.
4. Comfortable in a team environment with ability to lead or to work with little supervision.
5. Must have ability to understand customer’s perspective.
6. Strong commitment to product excellence.
7. Experience in testing web based applications, DB concepts is required.
8. Test Automation tool development experience.
9. Must have extensive 8+ years of experience (3 + years) in a technical leadership role as a mentor.
