Job Description:

This is a senior position and the selected candidate will lead a mid-size team of content editors proficient in print and web work. Ideally, s/he should have headed a print or web team in a media firm of repute, and should have supervised, reviewed, edited, and developed content for print/web or both. Besides content development, the candidate will also work with the design and development team in building the website and in developing print products. All work will be against tough deadlines. To achieve the goals, the candidate should have the drive and ability to bring out the best in team members.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should have:
- Worked for at least ten years in a senior position in a leading newspaper/magazine and ideally should have some experience of working on a web portal
- A passion for editing copy and ensuring that all edited copy is error-free
- Ability to write compelling and engaging text for Home Page/Inside pages of web portal, brochures, handbooks, manuals etc
- Knowledge of web applications and publishing technologies
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a team environment
