In this project we have projected our view on embedded system. Embedded system as the base, energy meter reading is read automatically and transferred to the authorized person through GSM technology upon the request. EEPROM ,RTC,LCD,GSM modem ,vibration sensor are interfaced with 8051 microcontroller .vibration sensor is used to detect the tamper i.e if somebody tries to break the Energy meter the vibration sensor senses and send signal to the Authorized person.
