Head Engineering

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, main responsibilities shall be:

Management of the engineering and maintenance team
Dealing with breakdowns promptly, efficiently and effectively.
Management of spares an associated stores.
Monitor team performance through KPI’s and beat targets.
Liaison with all the related departments in particular Production to ensure their current and future needs are met.
Analyze the maintenance history, costs and breakdowns to recommend and implement suitable activities to reduce costs and improve plant performance.
Develop reliable, cost effective, good quality vendors for local supply of spare parts / services.
Manage implementation and completion of new projects (capital and revenue within agreed time frames and within agreed budgets.
Participate in operational cost reduction activities.
Good safety awareness and building good network with local and overseas suppliers & contractor.

Education, Experience & General Requirements:

A great leader.
Degree in Mechanical / Elec. Engineering.
Familiar with TPM and RCM
Experience in running PPM systems through and ERP system
3 -7 years experience in maintenance engineering within a reputed organization.
Project management experience a definite advantage.
Flexible to working hours depending on needs of the business
