Mini Project : SIMULATION OF DELTA-STAR CONNECTED TRANSFORMER WITH LOAD
The objectives of the project are to determine the voltage and current ratios of the delta-wye connected transformer and to examine the waveforms of the zero sequence current components on both sides of the transformer. The considered situation is that the load across each secondary winding is 1.5KVA, unity power factor.
Main Project : SOFT SWITCHING OF PWM THREE LEVEL INVERTER
In this project we are going to control the AC motor speed using the micro controller by the method of pulse width modulation .In this system we are using a AC motor which is operated by a relay. The relay on-off mechanism is control by the microcontroller. Microcontroller also provides PWM signals with varying frequency. The width of the pulse decides the frequency of the pulses.

Project Name : DESIGN OF SHUNT ACTIVE POWER FILTER
Team Size : 5 members
Objective : A Shunt Active Power Filter(APF) is a device that is connected in parallel to group of loads.APF cancels the reactive and harmonic currents drawn by the load so as to make supply current sinusoidal. Active Power Filter are explored for executing different power conditioning function simultaneously along with harmonic elimination due to increase in non linear and unbalanced load, at the point of common coupling.
