Job Description:

- Manage and support authoring and design of Corporate Website
- Manage and support authoring and design of Corporate Intranet
- Design look and feel for various web applications
- Design web page layouts, banners, and graphics
- Produce web graphics to be used in website designs and web applications
- Serve as a lead designer on projects of defined scope, relying upon design style guide and pre-approved design templates
- Collaborate as a User Experience team member to develop prototypes and visual designs for website redesign or web application projects under the guidance of a manager or a senior designer
- Conduct website consistency reviews and identify consistency issues to senior team members for evaluation and consideration
- Provide analysis, recommendations and implementations to optimize product usability
- Develop standards for a consistent user experience
- Keep current with design standards, techniques, technologies, tools and internal process
- Be the “go to” person for everything art and graphics related and assist with different vehicles of communication and marketing including print, online and email.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- College degree in graphics design, or in a related field or discipline
- 1-3 years experience creating web user interfaces and/or browser based applications
- Experienced in creating effective user interface designs that meet business goals
- High degree of proficiency in Adobe CS3 tools, especially Flex or Flash; with intermediate level of Action Script Knowledge. Photoshop, Dreamweaver; experienced in design of Flash components and interfaces a plus
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, ASP, PHP for Website maintenance
- Able to understand and use SQL queries in both MS SQL & MySQL
- Possess knowledge of website hosting using IIS, Apache
- Familiarity with user-centered design process and web usability best practices
- Self starter with ability to collaborate with project team members and work independently with minimal supervision
