    Assistant Manager – HR
    Posting - Kolkata
    Job Description. :
    1) Serve as a key member advising business leadership team responsible for HR processes for Associates.
    2) Function in an active and influential business advisory role with executives in order to drive business results
    3) Leverage broader HR team resources to drive change in leadership & organizational development, compensation and staffing.

    Specific areas of focus over the next 12 - 24 months include :
    - developing and implementing staffing and learning strategies
    - participate in developing retention strategies
    - contribute to organizational development,
    - talent planning, diversity, compensation management and delivery,
    - performance management, workforce planning, - participate in developing appraisal mechanism
    - increasing associate satisfaction and engagement,
    Some travel to other regional offices and job sites will be required.

    Qualifications :
    Minimum of 5 years human resources experience in a mid-sized service organization of 50 FTEs, is required, preferably in the engineering sector.
    1) Preferable to have experience in three or more of the following areas :
    - human resources management,
    - organizational development/change management
    - process improvement (familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures preferred)
    - compensation, staffing.
    - Prepare Competency Matrix w.r.t Skill Set.
    - Understanding of Contract Labour, Welfare Laws & Other Statutory Compliances etc.
    2) Business driven with strong financial understanding
    3) Strategic planning, proficiency in problem resolution and general management aspects.
    4) Advanced communication & presentation skills
    5) High level of interpersonal skills and integrity and responsive team player
    6) Ability to influence senior management, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and participate in thought leadership
    7) Ability to appreciate and function in a matrix environment
