Job Description:

- The basic job of a copy editor is editing the scripts received from the bulletin producer
- Making Pkgs, AVO and Bites for major bulletins as well as for the hourly bulletins
- Rendering story ideas like story idea relating to sports and entertainment, special story, year end special bulletins.
- Producing hourly bulletins whenever asked to do it.
- Making graphics for the story
- Giving voice over for the story
- Rendering concept for the promos for story promotion
- Handling panel whenever situation arises
- Involved sometimes in planning for the live coverage of many incidents.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidates should be graduate in any discipline with proficiency in Kannada & English and should be in the age group of 25-35 years with at least 2-3 years of experience in generating good ideas and reporting quality stories. Good grasp over current affairs, news planning and script writing conforming to TV format are essential. A degree or a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication will be an added advantage.
