Job Description:

Instructional Design

- Develop micro design documents within product standards.
- Write clear and measurable learning objectives.
- Create the course outline, based on the TOC, if available.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop training materials and reference documentation according to product standards.
- Assist in data gathering and analysis, whenever practical.
- Create and/or review a variety of training deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Instructor and participant guides
- Storyboards
- Web-based training
- Scripts
- Quick Reference Cards
- User Manuals
- PowerPoint slides
- Creative case studies
- Scenario-based learning
- Scenario-based exercises
- Assessment items
- Update and/or reformat existing course materials.
- Assist in the archival of training deliverables.
- Prepare and/or deliver briefings, as required.
- Visualize graphics, and enable the ID Specialist to visualize graphics with the Visual Communications Specialist.
- Provide instructor-led training, as necessary, to internal and external SMEs to enable them to develop instructionally sound content.

Light Project Management

- Adhere to and inform productivity standards.
- Support the project manager in developing project plans.
- Serve as the point of contact during the development of course materials for self-work as well as for any vendors engaged with.
