YuMe is seeking a Graphic Designer and Web Developer to assist with the development of video ads for YuMe clients, as well as to assist the marketing team in maintaining the corporate website and designing collateral. An ideal candidate will have online design experience and a sharp eye for creating sleek and modern designs for video ad creative and for Web user interfaces. This role will report to the Director of Marketing, but will work closely with the Product Marketing, Client Services and Engineering teams.


Desired Candidate Profile:

Responsibilities

Creative development and graphical support for a variety of online video ad campaigns for ad agency clients.
Support ad sales by designing Flash mock-ups for sales presentations
Design and produce final creative designs to be ran across YuMe’s video ad network.
Work closely with the product and engineering teams on the development of new video ad formats, video player skins and UI designs for client facing portals.
Gather requirements from departments and quickly turn around projects.
Help manage and enhance YuMe’s corporate website from design to code.

Requirements:

Expertise in designing with Adobe Flash and ActionScript is a must.
Expertise in Adobe PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Apple’s Final Cut Studio Pro line of Products.
Working experience in designing online advertising creatives in Flash.
Working experience with online digital video.
Working experience in graphic design for print and web media.
Excellent grasp with XHTML/CSS/PHP/JAVASCRIPT with the ability to clearly separate structure, presentation and behavior.
Experience with UNIX or DOS based command line.

Ability to create screens with dynamic behavior using AJAX and other technologies.
A good understanding of XML/XSL/XPath and other XML related technologies will be beneficial.
Familiarity with serving Web Content in a server side environment and the implications thereof. An understanding of JSP and JSP related technologies will be useful.
Familiarity with branding and white-labeling solutions for multiple customers using the same code base.
Familiarity with internalization and encoding related issues.

Ability to create usable screens for complex workflows and improve usability based on user feedback.
Team player with strong verbal, written and organizational skills, including strong attention to detail
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years experience
