Job Description:
Full Time, 3D CAD Modelling, Concept Sketching, Mechanical Analysis & Simulation
1. Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, artwork, and/or blueprints, using drafting instruments, or CAD in SolidEdge, ProE (knowledge in SolidWorks can also be considered).
2. Analysis & Simulation of CAD Designed components.
3. Direct and coordinate the fabrication of models or samples.
4. Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
5. Coordinate the look and function of product lines.
6. Confer with engineering, marketing, production, and/or sales departments, or with customers, to establish and evaluate design concepts for manufactured products.
7. Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics.
8. Research production specifications, costs, production materials and manufacturing methods, and provide cost estimates and itemized production requirements.

Title : “A study on effect of specimen size on compression strength of GLASS FIBER
REINFORCEMENT POLYMER COMPOSITE”.
Description : In this project following details are observed
Composite structures are employed in a wide range of industrial applications and for design purposes, it is vital to clarify the mechanical responses of composites with different loading types. As a result, studies are and being carried out to determine the mechanical behavior of composite structures under different conditions. Composite materials have superior mechanical properties like high specific stiffness, high specific strength, high fatigue strength, and good impact properties. Besides, composite materials provide good dimensional stability and design flexibility, they are appropriate for near-net-shape processing, which eliminate several machining operations and thus reduce process cycle time and cost.
Hence this work focuses on the compressive behavior of GFRP composite for various specimen sizes. The work was also stretched to know the impact of open holes, single ended and double ended notches on the compressive strength of the laminates. The specimens were prepared using hand lay-up method by maintaining constant weight fraction. The experimental results clearly indicate that the compressive strength is dependent on the width, thickness, holes, type of notch and their sizes

RADAR Signal Processing Unit
This system acts as an intermediate system for Selection, Distribution and Controlling of signals from IF cabinet after converting them to RF signals and sending them for further processing or display. The system aims to replace the existing bulky electromechanical systems used in military, marine and air bases by a smart and user friendly system consuming less power and space with the use of GUI developed using LABVIEW that replaces all the mechanical switches for selection of channel and gain control. It prevents saturation of the RADAR system which works on real time continuously capturing information by sending RADAR waves into the atmosphere and receiving the echoes to decode information such as the size, location, distance, speed, etc of the object falling in its range. This system receives input from the IF cabinet and redistributes the same either by combining or by ending the same signals to different units for further processing and display.
MTech 2nd Semester Project :
AVR Micro Controller for Patient Monitoring and Drug Delivery System
Monitoring and comparing patient body temperature and the temperature at the IV sight using Negative temperature coefficient thermistor, amplifying the signals and giving to ADC and to Atmega16L microcontroller for comparing and reporting if there is fall in temperature at the IV site by Displaying a message on LCD and sending a message to the doctor incharge using GSM modem to prevent extravasations.

Foot to Knee Massager using 8051 Micro Controller
Using 8051 to run a stepper in clockwise and anticlockwise direction for pumping and sucking of air in the piston and cylinder assembly which in turn inflates and deflates the cuffs wrapped around the leg to give massaging effect.
