Job Description:
This unique position will be awarded to a talented individual who will be required to act as Senior project manager, with the ability to lead a team of dedicated designers. You will be responsible for providing technically demanding solutions to cutting edge designs, whilst working in a multi-disciplined environment. You will be expected to meet tight deadlines with accurate drawings and well managed and documented procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:
As Senior Project Architect for the Fablife Group you will be required to lead a dedicated design team. You will be responsible for providing creative solutions to technically demanding problems.

Candidates must be able to and be able to formulate feasibility studies and you will assist in the provision of creative solutions to multi-disciplined projects, whilst demonstrating a sound level of technical competence.

You will be a self motivated team player with good people skills. Candidates need to have an intelligent, logical mind that pays attention to detail and have a good grasp of mathematics.

An in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D-Max for rendering is essential. The Candidate must be able to hand sketch and articulate a design whilst consulting with other people about the design environment.

• preparing and presenting design proposals to the client
• keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines
• producing detailed drawings from which costing are made
• solving problems that might occur during building
• A thorough knowledge of local Authority and Building regulations.
• Practical experience in running RIBA work stages.

Qualification:
• Minimum of BA Hons Architecture
• Project Architect design, project management and wide range of detailed site supervision.
• Proficient in the use of software packages i.e. AutoCAD, Micro station, 3D MAX, Google Sketchup Pro and other rendering packages.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft project management suite and office products.
• Will be capable of researching, preparing and presenting technical presentations and reports.
• Experience of dealing with clients' enquiries and attending meetings
• Presentable and well spoken in fluent ENGLISH

Responsibilities:
• Management of small projects or sections of larger projects, so as to achieve the clients’ objectives to cost and programme.
• Assistance in the execution of projects with defined design and cost parameters.
• Can assist with the development of independent studies and analysis and the preparation of recommendations and conclusions for formal review by project manager.
• Can provide technological input and supervise technical input by others within the Architectural discipline.
• Can effectively manage own time which may if necessary be allocated to more than one project.
• Can assist in the preparation of quality presentation and standard local authority submissions.
• Can build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients
• Can work within a business management framework to assure constancy of quality and cost management.
