Job Responsibilities
GENERAL :
- Pipe wall thickness calculation.
- Preparing Nozzle orientations for horizontal and vertical equipments
- Selecting the sizes and materials based on ASME, ASTM Standards.
- Preparing final General Arrangement Drawings and Equipment location drawing.
- Modeling the Equipments & Instruments from Vendor detail documents.
- Preparing Material take off.
- Preparation of equipment as per general arrangement drawings and updating equipment modeling.
- Preparations of initial pipe rack span calculation.
- Well versed with ASME 31.3 Codes and standards.
- Fabrication of loops
- Isometric implementation from isometric drawings
USING PDMS :
- Modeling the Equipments & Instruments from Vendor detail documents.
- Modeling the pipe routing with respect to Corresponding P&ID and Piping Spec..
- Preparing final General Arrangement Drawings and Equipment location drawing.
- Modeling the interconnecting pipe routing from IPD layout.
- Clash Checking for pipe routing.
- Locating the pipe supports with stress engineer support
- Data consistency checking for Pipe routing.
- Extraction of Isometric drawings to dxf from PDMS.
USING AUTOCAD-2010 :
- Editing the preliminary P&IDs with respect to completed model or constructed plant.
- Separate Pipe lines from Assembly Model for detailing purposes.
- Modeling the pipe fittings, Valves and all Plant accessories for ASTM, ASME Standards.
- Preparing the Isometric and all other views for manufacturing and fabrication.
- Developing the 2D Drawings by using Auto CAD for machining process.
- Modify & Detail existing structures, Equipments and Skids.
- Preparing Material take off.
NATURE OF WORK
- Equipment modeling and location fixing on the site.
- Modeling the pipe routing with respect to Corresponding P&ID and Piping Spec.
- BOM Preparation.
- Preparation of piping ISO drawings.
- Machining drawings preparation for other processes like Laser cutting, Turning, Machining.
- Site layout for M/C Erection preparation and correct the existing layout for additional M/Cs.
- Client review and discussion for approval.
