    Description :
    Ultra capacitor based regenerative braking system intended to be used in electric vehicles/ hybrid electric vehicle. The system shall use Ultra capacitor for temporary storage of regenerated energy and to support the battery while acceleration. The system shall allow higher acceleration and deceleration with minimal loss of energy and minimal degradation of battery pack. The DSP based control algorithm shall measure various system parameters and control the energy balance between the ultra capacitor and battery. CAN based measurement system will read the parameters in real time. The parameters can be viewed by Canoe based GUI in a PC.

    Description: STM (Specific Transmission Module) Montreal Carborne System is an Automatic Train Control (ATC) System in 1:1 hot standby configuration. The ATP primarily maintains safe vehicle speed and eliminates overspeed conditions by activating emergency brakes; PA is primarily for Automatic Train Operation. Other subsystems are SESAM-CT which monitors data relevant to the train control system and records that data for a window of time around set events and alarms. The SESAM-CT communicates with a wayside data collector through a radio link. The scope included verification of ATP, PA, SESAM-CT and Wayside Data Collector software.
