Job Description:

1. Responsible for activities of one area/package of civil construction like Boiler & TG Hall foundation, railway infrastructure work, civil aspects of plant water system, ash and coal handling systems, foundation work of switchyard or construction of employee township and site facilities.
2. Responsible for coordinating with supervisory personnel, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
3. Mobilizing Resources/ Equipments/ Materials at local level to facilitate scheduled construction work.
4. To ensure adherence to time schedules for the civil construction activities at the site.
5. Ensure strict compliance to all safety norms & implement project safety plan

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Experience in handling the charge of one area/package of Civil construction of a green-field thermal power project of 80 MW or above.
2. Capability of handling supervisors / workers / contractors to complete the construction activities in coordination with engineering, architects, consultants & clients.
3. Knowledge of international standards and best practices for construction technology is desirable.
