Job Description:

Candidate will be responsible for :-
1. Manage the group's Indirect tax compliance issues (Sale tax, Service tax, Return filing, etc).He has to interact with external contractors/suppliers as well as work with the business to reduce the tax inefficiencies.Should have more exposure of Tax planning.
2. Compliance under service tax laws and VAT formalities.
3. Liasoning and building relationships with tax authorities and government officials etc.
4. Ensuring group standards around tax risk management are met within business areas.
5. Advising on various new initiatives from a tax perspective.
6. Coordinating resources across departments to address business line tax issues; related project planning and co-ordination.
7. Coordinating tax structuring and due diligence for acquisitions.
8. Liaising within the tax department and with outside advisers to address more complex tax issues.


Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 6 to 10 yrs of experience. Very strong grounding in Indirect tax matters with excellent communication skills.He should have good negotiation & interpersonal skills.
