Working with Wipro Infotech for Huawei SOFTX Node 3000, MGW8900 (NGN), as an Engineer from August 28 2010 till Date 2011.
- Job Responsibilities :
- Operation & Maintenance of Huawei MGW NLD, SOFTX Node (NGN).
- License uploading for MGW’s.
- Assist & support in any upgrade/migration/expansion activity for the MSC during the O&M period.
- Network KPI statistics monitoring and Analysis of MSC.
- Augmentation of new E1’s with existing POI & creation of new POI with Other MSC’s via MGW with Softx.
- Make new TG’s & Level openings on particular route.
- Basic Health Check up for SOFTX & MGW Node’s.
- Alarm log & CMD log for both SOFTX & MGW Node’s.
- Liaison and Coordinate with Other operators for Physical E1/STM configuration from IDEA and other operator transmission team & Switch team.
- To Perform the NLD POI Acceptance Testing / augmentation with other operators / service providers in circle.
- Update transmission related details with end to end port details.
- To daily monitor the alarms and utilization of all POI from SOFTX & UMG.
- Preparing Daily ASR, Busy Hour and all Hardware Utilization Performance reports.
- Analyzing Traffic Performance issues and coordinating with respective Circle Team.
- Taking BAM backup of SOFTX & UMG.
- Maintaining CDR’S & their timely back up form IGWB client..
- Accessing MGW’s nodes via Telnet.
- Respond to daily customer queries/complaints.
- Troubleshooting of daily problems/complaints and act as first level interface to the customer.
- 24X7 support in shift
- Basic monitoring of (Juniper M120 Routers) for various interfaces..

- Job Responsibilities :
- Tracing CPU usage, TC & EC resource, user call traces, and IP interfaces traces, pining status with other UMG’s as well as Softx’s.
- Loop testing with other operators for New Augmentation
- MGW configuration & managing hardware.
- Checking bandwidth utilization for MGW.
- Analysis of weekly VOIP report for Jaipur Huawei MGW.
- Clock setting for MGW.

- Practical knowledge of installations of Ericssons BTSs & BSCs.
