Topic : Drag reduction in Multi Utility Vehicles through Double Curved Spoiler
Synapsis : Many aerodynamic devices are in use for controlling drag force but yet we are striving to get most effective design to control the drag force. Hence we have come up with a new design named double curved spoiler which reduces drag force more effectively than ordinary flat type spoiler. We tested a multi utility vehicle ands compared the computational fluid dynamic(CFD) result with Wind Tunnel Testing results. Placing the double curved spoiler at the roof edge reduces the drag force upto 28 percentage.
