    Job Description:

    The Role:

    The incumbent in this position will sell Cosworth’s Consulting Services to the Indian automotive OEM’s and provide support services to the Parent Company in the UK.

    The Responsibilities:

    1. Business Development
    - Identifying high potential sales opportunities within our strategic target markets.
    - Managing, prospecting and planning of strategic accounts.
    - Organizing road shows & technical conferences to keep the customers updated with new technologies & developments at Cosworth
    - Up-sell existing customers with new services.
    - Handling the full lifecycle of the customer engagement starting from prospecting to customer servicing on a day-to-day basis.

    2. Management

    - Preparation of Business Plan, Sales Forecasts, Marketing Activity Plan and ensuring timely & effective implementation of the same.
    - Establish excellent communication processes between cross-functional staff (Engineering, Sales and Marketing) to ensure that overall operations run smoothly and to achieve total company commitment/awareness of customer satisfaction goals.
    - Create business opportunities for innovation within our Indian organization.
    - Ensure short-term customer support objectives are met while supporting long-term global corporate goals and strategies.

    3. Customer Support
    - Defining customer requirements, which are primarily of a technical nature
    - Preparation & timely submission of consultancy proposals
    Desired Candidate Profile:

    The Person:
    - 7 - 10 years of experience in managing Engineering Consultancy sales
    - Masters in Engineering & / or Masters in Business Administration
    - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to survival
    - Must possess executive level communication and negotiation skills
    - Technical knowledge on the functioning of Automotive Engine & its mechanisms though not mandatory would be an added advantage
    - Excellent customer relations, people management and technical leadership skills
    - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
    - Possess a commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics
