Job Description:
Prepare and implement an annual budget to ensure the sound management of the company’s finances and update.
Formulate and implement strategic imperatives for tax related issues.
Advise Board on impact of new laws, decisions, regulations and rulings, proposed tax legislation and tax exemption issues
Assessing the impact of the latest taxation laws and ensuring procedures and calculations adhere to the same
Liaising with banks to obtain maximum credit lines at best possible terms
Monitoring working capital management, funds allocation and return on capital
Develop and maintain arrangements for effective cash management.
Identify and implement programmes to improve the cost effectiveness across the finance function
Finalising accounting policies and procedures for the group
Ensuring up-to-date maintenance and timely closure of all statutory books of accounts
Ensuring that all accounting and transaction processing activities are performed with efficiency and integrity
Develop and maintain all necessary systems and procedures for finance to ensure achievement of corporate objectives.
Lead the communication of appropriate financial & administrative procedures within the organisation
Appoint, mentor and manage direct reportees
Sharing information with the relevant team; presenting budget variances and actuals for periodic review to the MD; participate in the decision making process of specific teams

10 years experience in the commercial field with consumer durable, telecom or FMCG industry
