Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Responsible for overall Operation of the Furnace and Melting Activities as per the process specifications and production schedule.
2. Should be capable of optimum utilisation of available equipments and resources to ensure the targeted productivity.
3. Should be well versed with the total operations of the Melting Plant and related process equipment for manufacturing of Non Ferrous Metals preferably lead and aluminium.
4. Should be able to manage the team responsible for the melting process.
5. Report to the Asst.Plant Manager on plant operations and on the quality control requirements.
6. Be Innovative in utilisation of the available equipment and resources to ensure the betterment.
7. Co-ordination with the other departments.
8. Conversant with Local languages/local laws for Mfg activities
9. Maintain the discipline of Experts/ Local Staff as per the company policy
10. Will be responsible for statutory compliance as per law of land.
11. Should be well versed with operational aspects and be able to guide the team and train the subordinates.
12. Should be responsible for upkeep and proper operation and maintenance of the equipment.
13. Should be responsible to adopt and follow-up of safety and security procedures required for the smooth operation of furnace.

1. He will be responsible for Mfg under the guidance of The Plant Manager and Asst Plant Manager.
2. Be responsible for Innovative adoption of new techniques.
3. To comply with the given targets.
4. Review of Production Targets periodically with the superiors.

7. Development of subordinates, Systems and Processes and Remaining contemporary.
