Job Profile:

Responsible for interpreting, transcribing and delivering complex medical reports for US & UK Clients in the respective format and within the prescribed Turn-Around-Time(TAT).

Detail description is as follows:

_ Applies knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and English language rules to the transcription and proofreading of medical dictation from originators with various accents, dialects, and dictation styles.
_ Recognizes, interprets, and evaluates inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation, and appropriately edits, revises and clarifies them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator_s style.
_ Clarifies dictation, which is unclear or incomplete, seeking assistance as necessary.
_ Flags reports requiring further attention.
_ Uses reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports.
_ Meets established quality and productivity standards.
_ Verifies patient information for accuracy and completeness.
_ Formats reports according to established guidelines.

_ Understands and complies with policies and procedures related to medico legal matters, including confidentiality, amendment of medical records, release of information, patients_ rights, medical records as legal evidence, informed consent, etc. Seeks clarifications as needed.
Skills Required:
Excellent listening comprehension skills
Good command over English language
Ability to transcribe accurately.
