Job Description:

Mechanical:- Experience in maintenance / trouble shooting / condition monitoring of combined Cycle Power Plant comprising of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbine Heat Recovery Boilers, Feed and Condensate System, Large Pumps, Water Screening Equipments, Water Treatment Plant, Fuel Systems and Diesel Generators is a must. Candidate must ability to read and interpret Mechanical drawings. Those who have experience in GTG Combustion inspection, hot gas path Inspection and Major Inspections will be preferable.
Electrical:- Must possess experience in Electrical works and switch yard equipments and auxiliaries, generators and turbines, Motors, Transmission and Distribution of electricity Equipment and System Protection, Direct current Systems and Uninterrupted Power Supplies. Knowledge of industrial electronics such as UPS, inverter drives and PLC is desirable. Candidate must ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Control & Instrumentation:- Experience in maintenance / trouble shooting / condition monitoring of combined Cycle Power Plant comprising of Gas Turbines, DCS, Mark V/VI, Steam Turbine Heat Recovery, Boilers, field instruments, Smoke detection, weather monitoring system, is desirable.


Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidates for all the positions must possess Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics / Control & Instrumentation), with a first class from a reputed institute. Candidate possessing minimum of 2 years and maximum of 10 years of hands on working experience as an engineer in power plant with Frame 9E/9FA Gas Turbine maintenance will be considered for suitable positions.

Title : Transient Thermal Analysis of IC Engine Cylinder with Fins
Description :
Study and analysis of Transient Thermal Analysis of IC Engine cylinder with fins will be made in this project. Transient thermal analysis is done on the cylinder fins to determine variation temperature distribution over time. The analysis is done using ANSYS. Presently Material used for manufacturing cylinder fin body is GAlcuTIMg204 it’s having the thermal conductivity 110-150W/mk, in our project we are conducting Thermal analysis for above material, but for increasing the convection, we are going to replace above material with Al 99.0 because it is having Thermal conductivity of 220W/mk. We are conducting thermal analysis for above two materials and validating which material is best for cylinder fin body.
