Summary of Skills & Experience :
I am Snigdhatanu Banerjee. I have passed M.A. in Hindustani Classical music (Kheyal) from Rabindra Bharati University in 1999. After that I qualified NET (Music) in 2001. I had been a Research Fellow in vocal music Department of Rabindra Bharati University from 2002to 2006.I have already submitted my thesis entitle “Gharana O Parampara Bhede Uttar Bharatiya Rag Raginir Rup Baichitra”for ph.D. degree . I have a publication on ‘Miyan Sadarang’(composer of different forms of Classical Music ie, Dhrupad,Kheyal etc.)in the form of a book entitled ‘Sadarang O taar Gaan’ in Bengali. I had been working as a Music Teacher(Vocal) in Delhi Public School, Patna till 20th April,2009. I have working knowledge about Synthesizer & Percussion instruments like Tabla, Dholak etc. I had perfomed vocal music(Classical,Light Classical) in several places & attended a number of workshops on Classical,Light Classical music.I have a basic knowledge about computer such as mail checking, file saving, having experience about MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point etc.

A. Madhyamik in 1988 with 1st Division
B. Higher Secondary in 1990 with 2nd Division
C. B.Sc. (Two years pass.) from Calcutta University in 1993 .

A. Passed Two years special Honours in Vocal Classical Music from Rabindra Bharati University in 1997 with 1st Class.
B. Passed M.A. in vocal Classical Music (Kheyal) from Rabindra Bharati University in 1999 with 1st Class.
C. Qualified NET Examination in 2001 .

Performed Hindusthani Classical Music (Vocal) in several places.
Attended a number of workshops on Hindusthani Classical Music organised by the 'Rajya Sangeet Academy' West Bengal.
Submitted research work on the topic entitled 'Gharana O Parampara vede Uttar Bharatiya Rag-Raginir Rupa - Baichitra' under the supervision of Smt. Mira Dutta roy, Senior Lecturer of Rabindra Bharati University.
Author of the book 'Sadarang O Taar Gann'

Teaching Experience :
Private teaching experience for the last nine years.
As a research fellow taught in Rabindra Bharati University (Kolkata) from June 2002 to March 2006. In this connection I had to teach degree & post degree students.
