TITLE: Effect On Application of Mixed Mordants and Natural Colorant on Physical and Fastness properties and Colour measurements of Linen and Cotton Fabrics
under the guidance of Dr. Bharathi patwardhan (H.O.D and Reader)
Brief overview of the dissertation:
The objective of this study was to dye 100% linen and 100% cotton fabrics using natural dye manjistha with 3 different mordant combinations i.e. Alum and Harda, Alum and Harda and CuSO4, Alum and Harda and FeSO4.
The dyed samples were tested for their physical (constructional and performance) and fastness properties and colour measurements (colour strength and colour data).
For physical test the undyed and dyed samples were compared.
