Job Description:

* Secure a well functioning and coherent safety and health organisation in Chennai
* Develop a Safety & Health programme/plan for FLSmidt Ltd Chennai
* Monitor local Safety & Health regulations
* Monitor safety and health performance for FLSmidth activities
* Developing methods and procedures for risk assessment and safety audits/inspections
* Perform internal audits & inspections
* Prepare reports to the local Management and the Global Safety and Health Manager
* Inform, train and instruct FLSmidth employees about safety and health
* Participate in FLSmidth Global Safety & Health Team with the purpose of develop standards and guidelines for handling of safety/health in the group


Desired Candidate Profile:

Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering + Diploma/Degree in Safety & Health

1. Basic competence within Safety & Health, Technical background, basically an engineer.
2. Organisational and planning skills.
3. Management or project management experience (or having the potential).
4. Cooperation and communication skills.
5. Training experience.
6. Motivated for working with Safety & Health.
