- Calculation of minimum Freeboard :
Calculation of minimum Freeboard has been done for new vessel and
conversion vessel.
- Foundation drawings :
Preparation of foundation drawings for all the deck equipments based on the
manufacturer foot prints. (Ex. Winches and cranes etc)
1. Strength calculations have been done to ensure that the given scantlings are
sufficient to withstand the self weight and pull of the winches and cranes etc.
2. Bending equation, moment of inertia and simple stress are used to calculate the
foundation of strength
- Gross tonnage and Net tonnage :
Preparation of gross tonnage and net tonnage for the new vessel and conversion
vessel. To calculate the volume of the cabins/compartments Simpson’s and
Trapezoidal rules are used,
- Preparation of structural and Schematic Drawings using AUTO CAD.
