GPEC (Gujarat Paguthan Energy Corporation)
About the plant: Paguthan Combined Cycle Power Station is 655 MW 3:3:1 combined cycle
Power plant. The main Power block consists of three Siemens V94.2 Gas
Turbine-generator sets, three Heat Recovery Steam Generators and one
Steam Turbine-generator set. Gas turbine uses Natural gas and Naphtha as
Primary fuels. Gas turbine has sixteen-stage compressor and four-stage
Turbine. Nominal capacity of gas turbines is 135 MW each. Three
HRSGs are horizontal gas path type and dual pressure design. Steam
Turbine is tandem compound, no reheat, and condensing steam type
Nominally rated at 250 MW.
Plant capacity : Gas Turbine SIEMENS make V94.2 model, 135MW
Capacities each
Steam Turbine SIEMENS make D30-25&N30-2x6.3-13-6,
250MW capacities.
HRSG Deutsche Babcock makes 227.59TPH at 104kg /sq.cm and
47.16 TPH at 12.16kg/sq.cm each

Major Accomplishments:
- Over viewing of work orders and executing the daily planned jobs of major, minor and regular maintenance jobs for static as well as for rotary equipments.throuhg CMMS with MAXIMO 5.2
- Maintaining the inventory translations as per the regular work orders, planned jobs and major, minor inspection of gas, steam turbines, and HRSG.

GT& GT auxiliaries:
- Major overhauling of GT (includes internal inspection of combuctionchamber, compressor and turbine blade inspection, inspection of diffuser for crack detection and NDT and replacement of HR3 burners to reduce the Nox.)
- Inspection intake air system and replacement of air intake filters make: varun flair filtration.

Steam & water cycle
- Minor inspection of steam turbine (including the bearing inspection, condenser cleaning, hydro test for lube oil coolers, inspection of lube oil system.
- Overhauling of major equipments of multi stage pumps like HPBFP, CEP, LPBFP and reciprocating pumps for dosing system of the various models make of: sera.
- Inspection of hydraulic system for the diverter damper (inspection of pumps, NRV’s, accumulator and cylinders which is having the pressure up to 250bar.
- Annual inspection of HRSG (includes attending the boiler tube failures,NDT of HP circuit and LP circuit,HP,LP drum and feed water tank internal inspection and NDT of drum joints and hydro test of the modules)
- Overhauling of valves (gate, globe, nrv, control, safety relief valve and automatic recirculation valves).
