Job Description:
Graduate Engineer in Civil Engineering with Post Graduation in structural/Bridge engineering with 8 to 10 years of similar Experience is Desirable. Eight to ten years Past experience in EPC/Design Consultant Company in Roads & Bridge projects.
Technical Competence, Extensive experience of:
_ Evaluation of River cross sections, discharge and soil condition to propose type of bridge.
_ Design of all types of roads, bridges, culverts.
_ Structural analysis and design of various Bridge structures like – Box culverts, Pipe culverts, Solid slab bridges, PSC box girder bridges, I – Beam bridges, steel bridges, composite bridges
_ Analysis, Design and Detailing of all types of temporary & major temporary works designs related to bridge construction works like shoring and shuttering for cast in-situ bridges, launching system designs etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:
_ Produce design calculations, specifications, drawings and other documents which meet specified EPC contract requirements.
_ Able to prepare detail project Report (DPR) for tender.
_ Able to produce Pre-BID design and Bill of quantities and method statements etc.
_ Must be able to do preliminary designs & drawings for tendering purposes.
_ Design and detailing of RC & steel structures using STAAD.pro & AUTOCAD.
_ Must have knowledge of latest Indian codes, able to design multi-disciplinary sub-structure as well as super structures;
_ shall be able to prepare design reports using MathCAD/Excel,
_ Able to communicate with client and design consultants in getting design inputs like Loading, soil parameters through attending meetings.
_ Shall be responsible for communicating with site personal regarding design assumptions/working methods and make sure site personal construct as per his/her design assumptions.
_ Need to visit job sites to collect data and take measurements;
_ Shall prepare design program/schedule, detail design and detailing.
_ Shall work constantly to build a design team and resources for the company, make decisions and solve problems technically, think creatively.
_ Able to solve problems by bringing others together to discuss differences.
_ Must concentrate and not be distracted while performing a task; Notice when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
_ Shall estimate quantities for various engineering solutions and compare cost and constructability to choose best solution-Value Engineering
