1. PRINCIPAL / VICE PRINCIPAL : B.E / M.Tech with min. 15 years experience.
2. TRAINING OFFICERS : B.E. Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics/IT/NTTF Diploma holders with 5/8 years experience in Industry/Teaching/Telecom/Automobile Sectors.
3. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS : Post Graduate with PGDHRM/M.S.W(PM&IR) with min 3 year exp. in General administration
4. HOSTEL WARDENS : Ex - Servicemen (J.W.O or above) or persons with Physical education degree qualification with experience
5. ASSISTANT TRAINING OFFICERS : Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics with two years experience in industry/Telecom Cell Site maintenance
6. GRADUATE/DIPLOMA ENGINEER TRAINEES : Fresh Engineering graduates/Diploma holders in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or IT Passed out in 2010/11 (Post Graduates in Science also can apply)
7. DIESEL GENERATOR MAINTENANCE OFFICERS : Diploma in relevant discipline with experience in Maintenance.

Dr. Heinrich Hellstern, Director of HEKS (development agency in Switzerland), by his noble gesture the Technical Training institute at Nettur was started in 1959. Nettur Technical Training Foundation was formed in 1963. Created with active technical support and knowledge transfer from Swiss industries and training institutions. The seed sown 50 years ago, the decision to start tool and die-making courses at Tellicherry, has been proved right. Though it not a panacea for all the problems in the region, the foundation has successfully developed and promoted technical training for gainful employment, as an alternative to the conventional academic education.
