Job Profile : As quantity surveyor I am responsible to ensure the commercial and contractual interests for the projects. I had involved in preparation of various items as per standard mode and contract specification, quantity take off and measurements from site and from drawings. I was responsible for preparing of day work records, material reconciliation statement, interim valuation claims, preparation of new rate build ups, making estimated amount for new works, identifying the changes and preparation of the variation's cost implications, agree of measurements with the consultant and client, visiting the site with cost consultant to monitor the progress for monthly evaluation, collecting the relevant documents and correspondences for the claim for Extension of time & Extension time preliminaries, collecting all records for the stoppage days for the project, keeping all contemporary documents for records.
I am responsible for checking the subcontractor’s material at site and checking of their interim valuation, variations, and measurements according to the site, also involved in agreement of sub contractor’s final account and checking of subcontractors As-built drawings.
I am involved for finalization of as built drawings, coordination with site execution staff for understanding the site conditions, progress and follow up necessary site instructions.
I had prepared and submitted the final account for the projects Oncology & Day Care Center at The Royal Hospital, Bank Muscat Corporate Head Quarters and National Diabetes Centre at the Royal Hospital. And also agreed the final Settlements of account of National Diabetes Project with consultant and client.
