Person should be aware about the latest trends in Quantitative Aptitude in CAT examinations over the years. Should be able to teach CAT aspirants. Areas includes Number Systems, Higher maths, %age, P & L, Partnership, Averages, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, P & C, DS & DI etc.

Established in 1994 INSTITUTE FOR CAREERS & COMPETITIONS in Lucknow is a premier Institute imparting coaching classes to MBA aspirants.
In 1994 when Institute for Careers & Competitions (ICC) was started, there were no organized centers or programs available for CAT in the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. No special emphasis was made on the preparation for CAT and students used to prepare by using material common to MBA, Bank-PO, NDA, and CDS etc. There was, therefore, a great need for a platform through which specialized guidance could be imparted to young minds aspiring for a career in management.
ICC was the first institute to identify this need and start catering to it in 1996. The first batch had only 14 students out of which 12 went to top B-schools like IIMs, XLRI, Asian Institute of Management (Manila) etc. The number of students doubled the next year and the results were just as great.
The Institute encourages the students to develop their talents and abilities to take up challenges in their professional pursuits & believes that True Education releases capacities, develops analytical abilities, self confidence, will power and goal setting competencies, and instills the vision that enables one to become a self motivated agent of social change, serving the best interests of the community.
The Institute has embarked on a modernization programme to that end it has chosen to get a quality management system as per ISO â9001-2000 standards in its organization.
