Job Description:

He should take the ownership of the overall technical direction and strategy for software development within the Company, and to communicate this effectively with all stakeholders on a regular basis.

_ To ensure the output of the department is technically and creatively fit for purpose.

_ To develop the skills of the development team in line with both the overall departmental strategy and the overall company strategy.
_ To work with Solution Provider and Solution Owners to develop and document standards and procedures for the design, build and implementation across all projects in the department.
_ To provide strategic advice to other groups, as well as to Board - specifically to highlight areas of risk and opportunities for improved service delivery.

_ To review, contribute and advise on all development projects. To produce and maintain the architecture documents for each development project.
_ To specify and maintain development standards that are used across development teams taking into account accepted industry best practice.
_ To drive technical excellence throughout the department.
_ To provide technical assistance to the sales team. Where appropriate to be a technical contact to clients and offer 3rd line support to them and Development/IT Support teams.
_ Software definition, architecture and design of complex payment software-intensive systems.


Desired Candidate Profile:
_ Knowledge of system architecture and design methods.
_ Understanding of electronic payments technologies.
_ Comprehensive knowledge of C# and ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005 and Transact SQL, Visual Studio 2008, XML, Javascript, Web-based Services and Solutions, payment systems and gateways integration methodologies.
_ Good knowledge of billing systems, LAPU, prepaid and postpaid platforms and VAS in mobile industry.
_ Good communication skill: ability to communicate effectively with teams, clients and management.
_ Ability to apply technical knowledge to real world problems.
_ Self-motivated and pro-active.
