Title:Exhaust Gas Temperature Analysis of Jet Engine” (Completed at Indian Airlines, Mumbai).

Description:
The aim of the project was to analyse the performance of an aircraft engine depending on the temperature of the exhaust gas. Tests were carried out on an CF6-50C2Engine of an A-300 aircraft. The tests showed that it is a very effective method for assessing the engine health. It provides the opportunity for early fault detection and contributes to flight safety by precluding In-flight shut downs and aborted take offs. It also enhances the operations and maintenance planning by reducing unscheduled engine removals and also reduces operating costs by precluding schedule disruptions and off base removals.
