ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Foreign Exchange- Payment Processing
- Supporting Bank of America FX operations.
- Sending SWIFT’s messages to banks for recalls, re-effect, amendments and return of payment order on behalf of banks and corporate clients.
- Making Manual payments of different currencies under the different applications.
- Preparing one day old report on a daily basis (payments outstanding over 20 and 30 days) and seeking explanation from the investigator for the same and updating the comments to the line of business on shore.
- Verifying Name, Account and Address(MT103) of corporate and retail clients and sending to different trading desks for booking trades.
- Processing payments manually in GBS and WTX using the instructions received from the onshore partners.
- Releasing Outbound payments from FX Confirmation Queue by cross checking the trade details in Sierra Report.
- Generation of One day Old Report to send it the trade floors about the hold over items.
- Prepping the Service Cases for the MT103's having discrepancies to investigate, re-effect or return the funds basing on the requests received from the remitting bank.
- Initiating calls bi-weekly with the onshore team to discuss about the issues and updates in the process.
Global Derivatives Foreign Exchange (GDFX)- Foreign Clean Collections.
- Making the payments to the various customers in USD currency and also in other currencies using rate sheet.
- Generating the case inputs which are received from onshore team by scanned checks and collections receipts.
- On behalf of BOA customers sending checks to drawee banks for collection basis.
- Sending tracing requests to drawee bank via DHL and swifts.
- Timely actioning on the emails received from other depts.
