Device Application Manager

Key responsibilities:
• The position requires a manager with complete knowledge to initiate projects, estimate
effort, lead the designs, conduct reviews, define quality processes, plan for
contingencies and ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Planning, Tracking and Delivery: Scope and estimate the effort required for new
applications required by business. Prepare and manage detailed project plans and also
provide regular reports on various aspects of projects underway. Ensure on-time
deliveries.
• Cross-functional Interaction: Interaction with the Product, Development and the QA
teams for tracking of projects.
• Understanding of Business Environment: Needs to have an understanding of the
technical environment of the market in which the business operates.
• Enhance Efficiency: Be responsible for enhancing efficiency and productivity of the
group by evaluating and implementing improved processes and tools.
• Leading the team: Should be able to lead and motivate high potential project teams.
Plan and support hiring and training.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering or in Telecommunications preferably
with an MBA.
• 4 + years of experience in the same technology
• Knowledge of Mobile platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication skills and experience in leading cross-functional
teams.
• Excellent organizational, planning & prioritization skills.

- The New process of the Run Services launched by the Sony Ericsson was to be handled by me. This was a new Process of D.O.A as well as for the R.M.A.
