- Mini Project : - Analysis, Design and Estimation of a two storey office building.
- The Design project deals with analysis, design and estimation of a two storey office building with a total plinth area of 138 square meters.
- Loading are calculated as per guidelines of “INDIAN STANDARD CODE”.
- The structure is considered as a framed one and frame analysis has been carried out by “MOMENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD”.
- The results of manual analysis are compared with results obtained from “STAAD.PRO”.
- The designs of all the structural members have been carried out by using “LIMIT STATE METHOD”.
- The code books IS 456 – 2000, SP16 are used for the design purpose.
- Estimation of quantities incurred in the construction of building is carried out using the “LONG WALL AND SHORT WALL METHOD”.
- Major Project :-Design of Solid Slab Bridge.
- The project deals with analysis, design and estimation of solid slab bridge.
- The loadings are calculated as per I.R.C code books.
- From the dead load and live load analysis the maximum bending moment is found.
- The design of all structural members has been carried out by using “WORKING STRESS METHOD”.
- Total estimate of the quantities incurred in the construction of the bridge is
Rs.48, 55,144.
