Job Description:
• Maintenance of books of accounts
• Ensuring smooth accounting operations
• Costing of products
• Preparation of financial statements as per applicable statutes, laws and rules, taking care of statutory audit and enforcing internal controls
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (Income Tax, Service Tax, VAT, FBT, TDS and ROC) by approving and filing statements and reports, filing returns, computing and remitting taxes
• Monthly MIS and Budgeting
• Managing relations with banks and financial intermediaries to ensure a competitive advantage
• Analyzing capital needs, negotiating credit with banks, brokers, and financial intermediaries
• Managing relations with statutory authorities
• Identifying and exploiting tax opportunities

Desired Candidate Profile:
• Must be a qualified CA and CS (or LLM/ LLB) with 5-8 years of experience in FMCG or Retail industry.
• Should be well versed with all financial/ accounting matters.
• Extensive Knowledge and experience into maintenance and finalization of accounts, working capital management, profile monitoring & building internal financial controls.
• He should be thoroughly conversant with computerized accounts.
• Should possess an in depth knowledge of manufacturing accounts including inventory, dispatches, billing, debtors etc.
• Should have full knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
• Alertness, keen analytical abilities and foresight would be inevitable core competencies that the company is looking for
• Should possess good communication & inter-personal skills
• Capable of building and maintaining relationship with financial institutions
• Must posses analytical and problem solving ability
• Mature personality with leadership qualities
