OSWAL CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS LTD.

One of the world’s largest DAP producing Fertilizer plant, with a capacity of 142 Te/hr X 3 units, located in Paradeep, Orissa. This plant also produced Phosphoric Acid and Sulphuric Acid for making DAP

HINDUSTAN FERTILIZERS CORPORATION LTD.
A public sector industry producing urea capacity 1000 MT/day and Ammonia 600 MT/day located at Barauni (Bihar)
Mile Stone achieved

- Commissioned one unit of DAP with in a short duration of 25 days.
- Modification done in CHAIN MILL to reduce its vibration level and consumption of bearings was reduced to 40%.
- Modifications done in RAW MATERIAL ELEVATOR to reduce the frequency of damage of bucket chain. The availability of equipment was increased to three times.
- Modifications taken up in DUST REMOVAL SYSTEM to improve the efficiency of the system.
- Designed a flap gate system for automatically unloading the collected dust from cyclones without induction of outside air. A rubber valve (flap) was provided earlier and has a high failure rate.
- Developed maintenance team and enforced proper maintenance system n a short duration of three months time in order to reduce emergencies to 20% level of total operating time. This includes a very controlled spare consumption.
- Maintenance of diesel engine of Gas turbine generator set. Could result in servicing and maintenance charges (including spare cost) of Rs.55 lacs it was a Japanese Set.
- Replacement of tube bundle of reformed gas boiler within a record time of 25 days.
