The very first plat form of mine was with M/s GMM (P) Ltd, Gujarat. A Leading manufacturer of Glass lined Reactors and Accessories like various Glass lined valves, Spindles, Agitators, Propellers and Pipes. There I have been assigned to do the new project development – PTFE Pipes manufacturing. And also I assigned to do Sales and Service of the Glass lined Equipments. This gave me a full knowledge about Entry into confined space, permit to work system, various types of Risk Analysis (FMEA), Types of corrosions, Non Destructive Examinations, and International Standards.
The next one of mine with M/s. Associate Environmental Engineers, Baroda. A leading service providers for Pollution Control Equipments like various types of Cyclone Separators, Sedimentation tanks, Silos, Dust collectors, various types of filters, Scrubbers, Blowers, Ducts, Bucket, Belt & Screw Conveyors, Electrostatic Precipitators and related various pollution control equipments which will be manufactured in India and abroad. Where, I have assigned as a Manager to do Preparing Tenders, Inspection, Procurement, and Scheduling Erection and Commissioning and also checking compliance of various standard’s requirements. There, I have exposed to various Industries like Cement, Chemical, Dyes, Paint, Pesticides, Petroleum Refineries, Pharmacies, Fabrication, Foundry and Textile Industries.
After, with M/s Aranthangi Chemicals, Tamilnadu. I appointed as Plant In-charge and Safety Manager. In that I was In-charge as well as I engaged for new plant Erection and commissioning, Inspection, Procurement of new equipments, Scheduling for production and also in Safety aspects like giving training, Checking Compliances of government standards, Chairing safety meetings and Investigating personally the incidents, and preparing and report submitting to the company Director.
Then, with M/s VKG Steel and Energy Pvt Ltd, Tamilnadu. I appointed as Safety Manager. There I totally engaged with Safety activities only. There, I created the whole safety management and implemented thoroughly among the management, technical persons, staffs and workers with the help of government regulators like Inspector of Factories, DGFASLI’s Director – Safety, and Outside Safety Consultants and Competent persons.
Which, evince me and gave a full pictorial and good experience in making training programs, awareness about the various safety fields like Cement, Chemical, Dyes, Paint, Pesticides, Petroleum Refineries, LPG Bottle filling Plants, Off – shore, On – Shore Safety activities and regulations and Textile Industries. With this knowledge I up graded my professional career as PG. Diploma in Industrial Safety through Distance Education -“Annamalai University”. In that, I took a project as “A Model for On – Site Emergency Plan for Pesticide Industries” in which, I secured 98%. My Project report has been kept a model project report for “Chemical Engineering” department in “Annamalai University”. And also gained a good appreciation from Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories – Tanjore Division, Inspector of Factories and District Fire Officer – Pudukkottai, in this regard..
My ambition that to have exposure to “Oil and Gas - on-Shore & off-Shore”, “EPC” and “Power Plant” in abroad like Gulf Countries. For that I took an International General Certificate course on Occupational Health and Safety – NEBOSH from “SEA – India” associate with “Sri Ramachandra Medical University – Chennai”, Lead Auditor Course like ISO 9001 : 2008 and OSHAS : 18001 from BSI – India and also NDT – Techniques like VT, LPT, MT, RT, & UT from “SQS Institute of NDT, Trichy”.
