Job Description:
The candidate would be responsible for Websphere Portal development, portal security, personalization, performance and configuration. The candidate should be independently able to initiate a Portal project and lead a team of developers.

Desired Candidate Profile:
The candidate should have more than 4 years IT experience.

Required skills Relevant experience
Real world experience in Portlet development - at least two year project experience in Portlet application design and development (JSR 168, JSR 286). 2 years project experience
Excellent knowledge in J2EE development 2-3 years
Good knowledge of WAS 6.x or higher 3+ years
Experience on developing applications using Rational Application Developer 1-2 years
Know and leverage Java patterns in your development
Web development expertise (HTML, CSS, Javascript 2+ years

Nice to have skills:
- Experience on developing application using WebSphere Portlet Factory.
- Experience of developing application using Webshere Content Management.
- Exposure to developing application using JSF.

Additional Skills
- Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in teams.
- The candidate should be familiar with Agile software development using methods as Scrum and eXtreme Programming.
