Job Description:
Supervising, Checking Quality of Construction.
Co-ordination between Contractor’s Engineer for correct construction of Factory building as per Design requirement and issuing of drawings for construction as per schedule.
Checking of Contractors Bills and certifying the same
Monitoring the progress of work as per schedule.
Co-ordinating with government agencies.
Sub contractor managements, allocating work fronts, monitoring and billing.
Quantity surveying and verifying the bill claimed by contractor.
Co-ordination between electrical, Air-conditioning, Firefighting consultants and contractors.
Maintaining record of utilization of resources like manpower, machinery, material etc.
Up keeping quality records and other documentation pertaining to execution of jobs, billing, subcontracts etc.
Record keeping of joint inspections, site log register, daily progress etc.

- Liaise with the Customer / Consultant Site Representative on day-to-day construction matters.
- Assess manpower, Equipment and other resources required to achieve the target in coordination with Construction Manager.
- Management of all project materials with regard to the Civil Works.
- Ensure availability of materials for the project at the right time.
- Identify borrow pits, sources for sand, aggregate, water and soil..
- Carry out the receiving inspection of project materials as and when required.
- Inform the QA/QC Personnel regarding any non-conformance observed in the material in use, during execution.
- Keep traceability of all materials until the project is completed..
- Coordinate with associated disciplines of work which include the subcontracts employed for day to day activities.
- Ensure through the plant department that service, maintenance and repair of all vehicles, plant and equipment are carried out.
- Liaise with the QA/QC Personnel and ensure all inspection and test activities are completed as required by the QC Procedures / QC Plans and prepare pertinent reports/records.
