Job Description:
Position: Copy Editor

Experience: 1 - 2 Years

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

- To ensure that all inputs meet established standards relating to appearance and content.
- To coordinate with the typesetting teams
- To ensure that content is well written and grammatically correct
- To correct basic spelling (UK & US) and typographical errors
- To check fact and style consistency
- To rewrite content if inconsistent with the established/ client norms
- To clarify with author/client in case of ambiguity in any aspect of the project
- To generate a comprehensive index, if required by client
- Maintenance and implementation of QMS as applicable

Desired Candidate Profile:
Prior experience of Copy Editing in Typesetting industry.
