This is in reference to your advertisement for the position of Freelance Content Writers. I have done Masters of Social Work from The Faculty of Social Work, M.S.University, Baroda. I had Psychology as my major during graduation and Marketing-Advertising along with it. Thereafter completing my Masters Program I was selected in the campus recruitments by a well- known NGO based in Ahmedabad and working basically for the Development of Kutch District, Gujarat. I worked in the capacity of Cluster Coordinator at Kutch and had the opportunity of providing a broad frame work for the various activities that could be undertaken for health awareness among the women of the SHGs in Rapar, Kutch. This was other than the day to day project related task. Thereafter I joined St. Xavier’s Social Service Society, Ahmedabad, which works for the comprehensive development of the Urban Slum dwellers of Ahmedabad for the past 30 years. There I worked as the think-tank for the whole staff and assisted the Director in the day to day documentation work. I had the opportunity of drafting two major project proposals while working with SXSSS, which were sanctioned Later on I got married and shifted to Abu Dhabi with my husband. Just before leaving Ahmedabad, I had worked for a consultancy as Research Assocaite on a freelance basis. There I drafted the promotional campaign for ITI- Rapar, Kutch. It’s a project funded by Suzlon and they are working in association with Gujarat Government for the upgradation of the current ITI setup. The consultancy was working on behalf of Suzlon for Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Most of the activities mentioned above involved a lot of online research, field surveys, discussions, self- study and editing.by an European Funding Agencies. Other than that I had even prepared the Annual Report for the agency. I have worked as a HR executive in a HR firm.
